Private Yoga Instruction and Therapy

Many individuals have needs that are not met by group classes.
Yoga Therapy is tailored to your specific needs.

These 45-60 minute sessions allow you to work privately with Caroline to create a practice that makes sense for your body and your level of experience. She does this by observing and identifying your needs or conditions and creates a customized yoga program to meet those needs, as well as focusing on your personal desires (flexibility, strength, meditation, and more).

She will also instruct on how to incorporate the program into your daily routine, considering your work/family schedule and time restraints. A consultation includes evaluation of your personal goals, strategizing how to make your practice consistent, and includes a written practice plan.

Here are a few reasons to choose Private Sessions:

  1. Specific health concerns:
  2. You want to get started in yoga, but without being overwhelmed or intimidated.
  3. You have injuries (back, knee, shoulder, etc...) that you would like to address.
  4. You want to add yoga to your current exercise program.
  5. Home Practice Development: current students working towards a specific goal such as increased flexibility, balance, strength; or even chanting, pranayama, & meditation.
  6. Practicing at home is a more affordable way of practicing yoga.

Caroline recommends a minimum of six sessions. In the first private session we discuss your symptoms and goals as well as gain insight into your current abilities of movement and breath. In your second session Caroline designs a program to do at home with specific yoga postures that address your specific needs. The next session will fine-tune the postures and breathing and add appropriate postures to encourage your progress. Follow-up sessions are available weekly, monthly or even yearly as is appropriate given your proximity and individual situation. Many students have a workable plan after 6-12 sessions. Others prefer to continue working one-on-one with Caroline indefinitely. Private instructional locations may be at the Yoga RX studio, but are also available in your home or office.

Private Session Charges
  • One hour yoga therapy session at Yoga RX, $60
  • One hour yoga therapy session at remote location, $75 (under 10 miles)
  • Package discounts are available for 6 or more sessions
  • Corporate yoga classes: $100 per hour
You can also sign up for semi-private sessions or small group classes. Call for estimates.
